I am Yordan Gil, a Cuban musician, symphonic conductor, composer, guitarist, singer-songwriter, poet, and writer currently based in Guyana. My artistic journey has been shaped by a deep commitment to music, creativity, education, and the pursuit of new possibilities through the arts. As a conductor and composer, I am particularly passionate about symphonic music, original orchestral creation, and the development of meaningful musical projects. My work brings together performance, composition, teaching, and artistic direction, with the goal of sharing music with diverse audiences and inspiring new generations of musicians. I believe that music is not only an art form, but also a powerful way to educate, connect people, preserve ideas, and create new opportunities. Through my work, I seek to build bridges between cultures, collaborate internationally, and contribute to the growth of musical and cultural life wherever my journey takes me.
